I'm a doctoral-prepared registered nurse, and I built Nurse Excellence Academy after watching capable nurses reinvent the same tools every survey cycle, every new hire, and every new regulation.
Every course, toolkit, and interactive tool sold here is written by me. Each one is drawn from real long-term care practice, checked against current published guidance, and designed to be used on a Tuesday afternoon between med pass and stand-up.
My goal is simple: give nurses and nurse leaders resources that are clear, current, and immediately usable — so residents get the care they deserve.
Why I built Nurse Excellence Academy
Long-term care nurses are asked to lead, teach, document, and stay survey-ready — often without a single ready-made tool to work from. I watched new nurses build their own checklists from scratch and experienced leaders rewrite the same audit form year after year.
So I put everything in one place: self-paced courses, printable pocket guides, checklists, and templates a nurse can open and use the same day. No jargon, no theory-only slides — just the practical resources I kept wishing someone had handed me.
